New Hartford Steam Rolls the Class B & Division 2 field

In Division 2, New Hartford left little room for doubt. After rolling an opening game of 943, New Hartford found itself trailing rival Camden by 10 pins but rebounded in game 2, seizing the lead for good with an 1116 team game, the highest team game of the day. New Hartford’s 6122 six game team total (943,1116,1045,1083,1037,898) easily outpaced the field (both Division 1 and 2) en route to both a Class B and Division 2 victory by a jaw dropping 597 pins. New Hartford was led by Micah Shahoud (1303, 217 avg) and Zach Koscielniak (1241, 207 avg).

Central Square outlasts ESM/Baldwinsville to Claim Class A & Division 1 Title

While Division 2 lacked drama with New Hartford amassing a massive lead as the day progressed, that was not the case in Division 1. ESM, Central Square, and Baldwinsville (technically the defending champ from 2020) duked it out over 6 games. ESM jumped out to an early lead thanks to a 1052 opening game. However, both Central Square and Baldwinsville cut into the lead in game 2 and the three teams were never separated by more than 60 pins for the remainder of the day, with Central Square ultimately prevailing. Central Square posted a 6 game pinfall of 5714 (956, 968, 912, 1003, 942, 933) and was led by William Allen (1201, 200 avg) and Jayden Allen (1172, 195 avg). Baldwinsville finished in 2nd with 5668 (-46 pins) and ESM settled into 3rd with a 5666 (-48 pins).

Sherburne takes Class C/D Championship

After leading by a mere 9 pins after Games 1-3, Sherburne opened up the Championship round with 1089 game 4, and held off Cooperstown for Games 5-6 to take home the Class C/D Championship with a 6 game pinfall of 5525 (865, 885, 972, 1089, 870, 844). Sherburne was led by Trace Kane (1190, 198 avg) and Olivia Fehlner (1182, 197 avg)

Both Central Square and New Hartford, having won the Division 1 and Division 2 Championship respectively, will represent Section 3 at the NYS Championships being held in Syracuse at Strike-N-Spare on the weekend of March 11th.
